The University of Arizona faculty have proudly chosen Ashley Mathews as the October Student of the Month!
In their nomination, the faculty said:
“Ashley has not had the easiest of journeys through the program but she has overcome each challenge and even volunteers to step up when needed! Most often heard preceptor comment: ‘You truly have the best attitude!'”
Ashley will graduate with the University of Arizona class of 2025!

As a Respiratory Therapist I had the privilege to work with many great Perfusionists and learn what they do on a day-to-day basis. Over the years, I developed a great respect and interest into the Perfusion lifestyle and care they provide to their community. Today, I am honored and excited to have the opportunity to learn from and get trained by some of the Perfusionists who took the time to take me under their wings and show me what this career is all about.
